Gatineau is not in Ottawa and with the merge they did many years ago, Hull, Aylmer and Gatineau are now GATINEAU. If you want to add Hull in there, you can just add (secteur hull) beside Gatineau to let go any confusion. The right address is now: 75, rue Saint-François, Gatineau, Québec, J9A 1B4, Canada

Was there on Saturday, and saw hundreds of small frogs along the shore, as well as a few turtles in the water. Great fun for kids!

We love dropping into Bar Le Whip and watching the Habs game and throwing some tunes on the jukebox. The last time I went they didn't have draught so that is my only suggestion for improvement. I can confirm there is a ladies washroom. There are lots of dart boards here as well. Friendly bartenders as well.

Residential neighborhood with a little commercial.
Great for family with 2 elementary school and a high school.
Geography: Slope, offers great views of the city
Population according to 2011 census: 15 060
Density: approx. 3081/km^2
population difference since 2006 census: + 298
There is little potential to increase population in the future.
A few infields between 2006 and 2011 have contributed to the increase in population but the neighborhood is entering a phase where the second generation is moving out. A decrease in population has been observed, especially in the older southern part.

Exclusively residential neighborhood, a high school, a farm that hounds against urban sprawl and a few shops on the western and northern artillery that bounds the neighborhood. Geographically the neighborhood is sloped quite a bit, hence the name of the neighborhood. The houses were mostly constructed in the early 90's on the plateau with a second wave down the slope in the early 2000's. The neighborhood house type ranges from bungalows, semi-detached, row houses, single detached and a few appartment buildings.

I used to live here from 1967 until 1983 and most of the street names are based on city or towns in France. When I was browsing this site and the area was not named I was able and the first to name it. Thanks

I lived in Aylmer in about 1970. I am from Detroit/Metro, USA & toured Canada before going back home to my family. I am looking for a very dear friend, Gordie McNally who lived in Aylmer with his family. I believe his Dad worked for the Postal Service. Gordie worked in Ottawa & rode a Triumph. The gas tank was painted like the British Flag. I used the name Terri Harden. I was quiet & shy. When asked who was your first love, I answer Gordie. I am trying to connect with him.

It's a cool little ferry ride, 5 or 6 minutes, and you can get out of your car if you want to. Price has gone up, though, it's now $9.00 each way for a passenger vehicle.

We have lived in Wychwood for over 20 years and it's initial attraction still stands true. It is all residential - no business shops, etc., although there are a few professionals who can work from home, e.g. massage therapist. Traffic is light and courteous. Buses go through the area. Very close to marina, schools, groceries, clothing, boutique shops, lquor store, etc.. The bike path runs by the area.

The students have been ordered back to school by the Quebec Courts - when you do not follow the rules of the court then you create anarchy - that is why we have a legal system - these kids should be put in jail.
